Google vision
A bright young designer from the U.K is developing a system that will have tag and name exactly what your staring at. Google Vision is a conceptual product developed by Callum Peden, for the worlds favorite search engine. The product provides the user with a truly unique information hub by combining GPS, OLED technology and advanced image recognition in the form of a retractable screen device.
The Global Positioning System will see the end of wondering the streets asking for directions and the small roller ball will allow for easy navigation of the flexible screen. Brilliant for identifying landmarks whilst on holidays, Google vision acts as a personal; tour guide. As well as this, advanced image recognition will mean Google Vision can target well known landmarks. Then using the increased coverage of wireless internet, provide the user with information on their surroundings wherever they may be.

Psst! Pass it on...
Psst! Pass it on... is a series of short animated films created in collaboration by a select group of motion graphics artists from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Berlin. Inspired by the Surrealist game of Exquisite Corpse and the children's game of Telephone, the minute-long films consist of three sections by three different design teams. The artists worked sequentially, linking up their animations to create a single piece over the course of about 9 weeks. The films feature a variety of styles and methods of production including live-action, stop-motion, 3d & 2d animation.

Banksy Barely Legal
Britain's famed guerrilla artist Banksy has launched a three-day exhibition in an industrial warehouse in Los Angeles, called Barely Legal. The technicolor elephant lives on a private reserve in Southern California. The paint she's wearing doesn't hurt her, says her caretaker, and Nelly has appeared in a number of commercials and movies so she's "used to wearing makeup." Stil, others believe her inclusion is exploitative and abusive.

'Here’s magic in the mundane.
Extraordinary in the ordinary.
New in the old, unexpected in the expected.
These are the roses you’re supposed to stop and smell.
And they’re not waiting around.
Are you paying attention?
What are you missing? Stop. Look. Listen. Now isn't here for long.'

The Urban Forest Project
The Urban Forest Project brings 185 banners created by the world’s most celebrated designers, artists, photographers and illustrators to New York’s Times Square. Each banner uses the form of the tree, or a metaphor for the tree, to make a powerful visual statement.
