Nicola Bockelmann's art currently deals with the phenomenon of “Porn Chic” which is omnipresent in the society. “Porn Chic evolved in the 90s when the media contributed to the sexualisation of culture. As a result the boundaries between pornography and culture became blurred and permeable and elements of pornography trickled into the mainstream."

Yes- It's very good stuff, reflecting trends in society :-)
I don't know about painting which directly copies a photograph. Terry Richardson's original photograph illustrated Porn Chic but the painting offers nothing new, being a direct quote. Does simply writing what another author says in a different typeface make it something new? I might argue yes sometimes, but in this case it just looks like a lift.
