In the contemporary art circle, Yang Na is doubtless a new artist. However, her works are ardently and strenuously sought after by collectors both in China and abroad. The fairy tale of Nana has in a short time led to Yang Na’s own saga. Inherently as beautiful as her works, the quiet Yang Na has a fervent desire to produce works of art, which ordinary beauties can by no means match. Her flamboyant works are brimful with complicated metaphors and designs, her pictorial language..poignant, cunningly sarcastic and teasing." (From “Supple Tension” catalogue essay by Victoria Lu, Curator, MOCA Shanghai).
You can find some of her works here, here or here.

Welcome to the slightly skewed world of Electric Cow. This unique website mixes the uncompromising eye of the artist with the eclectic view of photography, illustration, computer graphics and any venture into a new media. It’s a great little show case for conceptual artists ,like Monica Cook. Her pictures of people smeared in what looks like beef jelly and ground hamburger is a little stomach turning, Fiona Shaw and Yang Na are other contributors. I think that I like the work by Yang Na the best. It is delicate and has a childlike innocence. I’ve never seen anything on the web like Yang Na. The main model has a sweet face with huge eyes. There is little that I can say about the bodies that Yang Na renders because they seem unimportant to the scope of the drawn people. The eyes are the window of the soul are Nang Ya’s personal playground. The eyes are entities unto themselves. They a wide open pools with bright highlights, that drawl the viewer to a world of Oriental delicacy.
